Started a New Position as Senior Researcher in BioAI

I’m happy to share that I have joined the Software Engineering Group, University of Bern as a Senior Researcher in the Innosuisse-funded BioAI4LCMS project, an interdisciplinary collaboration between Universität Bern, HES-SO Valais-Wallis and Genedata!

Under the supervison of Sebastiano Panichella, I’ll be working at the intersection of bioinformatics, AI and software engineering, with the goal of developing AI-driven, scalable bioinformatics tools for LC-MS proteomics workflows in biopharma R&D.

The BioAI4LCMS project brings together experts from academia and industry to explore how advanced AI and generative intelligence can help automate and optimize biopharmaceutical processes, aiming to build smarter, adaptive Bioinformatics-as-a-Sevice tools.

I’m excited to collaborate on this incredible opportunity and continue to build a bridge between academic research and real-world applications!
